Time Lost

Every minute we’re apart is lost
Lost forever to someone or something else
It can’t be recalled or re-lived
It’s gone forever
Those moments we’re apart
I imagine you are with me
I can hear your voice, see your face
I can feel your breath on my neck
The warmth of your hand in mine
I capture every instant I can with you
Though I miss you more
You are always there
In my mind and in my heart

Interesting. Even though this poem is free verse it flows like a poem with rhyme. My mind wonders around the main theme of missing someone with your words, I think this poem would strike a stronger point if you would rid it of the words "you" and "we". Let it be just your thoughts. The reader would be lost in your feelings, missing the person you are talking about without knowing it.
